Jack crosses the forest
A path connects the two villages. It meanders in the middle of the forest. To save time, Jack decides to cut through the woods off the trail. The weather is beautiful. It is a beautiful sunny afternoon. The breeze carries a good smell of dead leaves and pine tree. The atmosphere of peace and tranquility gives to Jack a sense of well-being. However, he keeps in mind his mission to try to save the little girl from the neighboring village of Caltra. So he walks at a brisk pace so as not to waste time.
After a while, he realizes that the brightness has decreased significantly. He looks up. The sun is almost to the horizon. He realizes that he should already be arrived to the village of Caltra. Jack knows that strange things are happening at night in the forest. A slight feeling of panic seized him. He wonders why he left the trail. After a few minutes he starts running without taking the time to evaluate what direction he needs to take.
