Light:
The cyclamen needs a good light intensity. However, you should avoid exposing it to direct sunlight.

Temperature:
During the flowering period, the cyclamen should be placed in a room where the temperature is about 16-20 ° C during the day and 12-16 ° C during the night. A cool temperature prolongs the flowering period.

Humidity:
Average humidity is suitable for this plant.

Watering:
This plant is very sensitive to the level of watering. If the soil is too wet the tuber will rot. If the soil is too dry the plant will  lose its leaves. Water the plant by the saucer. It is then necessary to remove the excess of water. You should avoid pouring water on the tuber.

Fertilization:
During the flowering period, use a fertilizer 15-15-30 or 20-20-20. Do not fertilize the plant during the summer (dormant period).

The soil:
This plant grows in rich, light and well drained soil.  You can mix organic matter such as compost to improve the quality of the soil.
