Gil Perez is released and he recovers its normal life

Gil Perez spent two months in prison in Mexico when a ship arrives from the Philippines, bringing news of the death of the governor.

Witnesses confirmed that Gil Perez had been on duty in Manila just before ending up in Mexico.  One of the passengers on the ship recognized Perez and swore that he had seen him in the Philippines. The Mexico City government decided to release Gil Perez and send him back home.

He will resume his post as  guard of the  governor's palace. Thereafter, he lived an uneventful life.
